On the surface, this seems reasonable. After reading through the objections raised by people who have studied the issue, it is clear that there issues that need to addressed before this system could be rolled. As someone who has worked on various software projects over the years, I see how mandating the usage of this product within 30 months could (and likely would) create significant issues when problematic code and non-existent processes are launched. Between the cost associated with this legislation and the problems that it is guaranteed to raise, this isn't the way to go. I'm also concerned with the premise that this will eliminate employment of illegal workers. As long as employers are willing to cheat the system, there is a strong likelihood that they will find a way around the system.
