This is partisan politics at its worst. Any other law or issue, any side of Congress would expect an alternative to repealing a law that provides direct benefits to tens of millions of Americans. No one has said ACA works perfectly. I have been fortunate to receive medical insurance through my employers, however not all individuals receive that same opportunity. We cannot proscribe something simply because it does not fit our own experience. What works for some does not work for all. My Representative Wagner has voted Yea on this issue, she has never received a vote from me and she can count on never receiving a vote from her constituents for such a thoughtless, unconscionable decision. That goes the same for my other representatives who may vote Yea on this. Declaring your stance on this issue is not enough. It behooves Congress to create an alternative immediately if this gets repealed.
