I'm still appalled that lawmakers believe they have the right to decide what happens to a woman's body. The fetus might be considered a life but the body is still THE WOMAN's. The CHILD is still the WOMAN's. I am a Muslim. In Islam, abortion is not allowed after a certain point in the pregnancy. I believe this is similar to the argument pro-lifers have. The difference is, I do not feel entitled to tell another woman to make a decision about her body based on MY beliefs. Even if I know a Muslim woman who is considering an abortion, the most I have the right to do is tell her my beliefs/opinions. I do NOT have the right to make her decision FOR her. And NEITHER DO LAWMAKERS.
