It is necessary to facilitate participation by all stakeholders and the public in land use planning with the best available information. I urge you not to roll back the final rule submitted by the Department of the Interior to BLM regulations, as this rule had substantial public involvement from multiple agencies, encourages incorporating best evidence, increases transparency and provides increased opportunities for engagement by all interested parties. Our lands belong to the public. The federal government has the resources to take care of these lands properly, not the states. Here in the West this is a huge issue because the states already do not have the resources to properly care for our lands, particularly during fire season. If our lands are to be transferred to the states, they will most likely be sold to the highest bidder and closed off to the public as they already have been in many cases when mining companies and logging companies are given access to our land. This land is my land, this land is your land, this land is our land. Let's keep it that way.
