I don’t understand life from the POV of the very rich. But it seems that those who are rich and large companies need to see that they affect society, best to affect it for the good. I mean really, why would that money go to one person who is living comfortably enough, when it could go to the employees, or to a scholarship for the children of the employees, continues healthcare for those workers who lost their jobs or... what is that POV that says the money will most benefit someone who has already more than enough? So often corporations value the equipment and the robotics and instruments over the workers, it seems, from my POV. The machines are seen as being equal to money, whereas the people are seen as replaceable. So, if a company is pondering or has filed bankruptcy, it seems to me irresponsible and unethical to give any bonus to those already affluent enough. Just my POV.
