Our constitution was written to enforce separation between the church and state by it full extent. This law violates a democracy for people of all beliefs, and support a theocratic government powered by oligarchic religious institutions. Also, in my opinion, all religious institutions should be taxed. This isn't political, it's simply business. Religious institutions like the Christian church make large amounts of money and don't pay a single penny to taxes. By taxing the tax- exempted religious institutions, we could have enough money to cover tuition-free colleges and universities. We could have enough money to rebuild our crumbling infrastructures. We could have enough money to cover health insurance for every one with pre-existing conditions in the U.S. If the churches want a right to make a political stance, they need to start paying their fair share in taxes.
