Al offshore drilling should be banned. If we are interested in saving the planet we need to get rid of fossil fuels. We need renewable energy sources that don't harm the planet like oil drilling, coal mining, fracking, etc. Contrary to what that fool in the White House says, wind energy does not cause cancer and do not harm the planet. Solar energy does not harm the planet. Why are we letting the oil companies, etc, endanger our lives and our children's futures for the sake of profit. It has to stop, it has to. Check to see if your members of Congress are up for reelection in 2020. If they are, call them and tell them that y will refuse to vote for them if they won't address climate change by dealing with the fossil fuel industry. But, before you call them, check to see who donates to their campaigns. It's public record, and easy to find. If they take money from fossil fuel super pacs, etc, tell them when you call that you know where they are getting their donations. We need to call them out, again and again. It's us or them; people or profit. Now is the time.
