The Democrats have blurred the line between legal immigrants and illegal immigrants. Yes this country welcomes legal immigrants and that makes us strong and even helps America. I am first generation American. My mother’s family come from Great Britain and her father fought and died in WWI. My dad though born in Italy became an American citizen and fought in WWII in Africa, Sicily and in France and in Germany. He came back to the USA and a year later married my mother and one year later had my twin brothers and 3 years later I was born. My Grandparents on my dads side came through Ellis Island legally. They had to have a sponsor who guaranteed that they would not become wards of the state and that they would insure they had a job. Other then refugees such as the end of our involvement in Vietnam ending the Cuba boat lift and such we have had a influx of illegal immigration from countries from the south.
I saw on the news last night of what is considered a piece of the border wall/fence in a piece of the Arizona/Mexican Border. When I lived in Lubbock Texas I can say we had livestock fences stronger to hold our livestock in than this so-called fence that was to protect our Border. This alleged fence was to say welcome that is American soil just the other side of the fence. If you can just reach over the fence and place your children over a you can jump over this fence like a tennis net well my friend you now have a claim for asylum from Venezuela even though the country you were in previously where you jumped the fence from had offered you asylum and even a job. Now that you were safe in Mexico away from Venezuela you now had time to go to Mexico City and apply to come to America and get on a place in line for American citizenship.
