We vacation in Michigan in the Summers and sometimes the closest stores for things we need are in Indiana. Indiana does not follow Daylight Savings. Michigan does. It can get a bit annoying to adjust to the differing starts and closing times for stores in Indiana. Of course one adjusts, but why should it be like that when you’re driving less than 15 miles. It would be wonderful if there were one system for the entire country.
Is Daylight Savings time even necessary any more? Not sure.
