Inequality in education is an ongoing futile argument especially in light of the point of view of the current administration. We are experiencing setbacks on every front. The fight is not strong enough we are losing steam and inequity is settling in and becoming the norm. Funding, infrastructure resources and poor teacher quality are crushing the public education system. As a 12-year school board member I know that for every one successful student there are three struggling. We can only hope that those programs that try to add some of these inequities can find the funding they need.
