This ruling is deliberately stereotyping unemployed people as drug users and is highly discriminatory. This has already been tried. It was proven costly and found very little drug use among those tested. Essentially, we would be creating an expensive and unregulated testing system where a problem doesn't really exist. This is just punishing and stigmatizing people who are out of work and operates as a favor to the drug testing companies. How many of those who lost there jobs in the Great Recession were drug users and need to be shamed?
