Yes, there should definitely be more visas issued! When Afghans or any other Middle Eastern national works closely with Americans, they prove themselves to NOT be a terrorist or radical believer. By helping the US or any other country DEFEAT their radicals, that puts themselves AND their families in extreme danger. They should be protected, vetted & then brought/sent to the country of their choosing where they & their families can live safely. I know veterans who have become very good friends with their translators—some weren’t able to get their friends out before the price on their heads were called in. They give up so much to help OUR Military & other countries who have military there, by helping, they sign their own death warrants, but they want to help us & defeat the extremist terrorist regime (s); bringing them out of those countries to safety is the least we can do. If they’re not willing to become US citizens, then we don’t need to do anything for them, but most are eager to come to the US & become citizens. For helping us, they deserve the chance!
