The United States of America is a nation built upon many beliefs, not just one. Most of the founding fathers were not Christian, they were Deists, Agnostics, and Christians. This is why there is no mention of God in the Constitution and that there is a separation of church and state, which Republicans in the 1950’s decided to breach by altering the motto. “Happy holidays” is a great way to stay neutral regarding other people’s religions/beliefs. No one ever said that Merry Christmas wasn’t permitted, no suggest otherwise is ridiculous. There should not be a law in place to make one group’s religion more prominent than another’s.
