Even the senate version of the AHCA is definitively irresponsible....at best, its the easy way out to "revenge" the ACA. Why hasn't the GOP just addressed piece by piece the elements of the ACA with which they'd propose a different approach....piece by piece as amendments. This bill still reduces costs off the backs of average and lower economic citizens without any compromise for cost reduction from the insurance or pharm industries. BIG corporate business again is being favored. For starters....take a look at the cost of TV advertising of pharmaceuticals. Once upon a time, there weren't TV ads. Well, they cost a bundle. I'm certain most physicians don't learn about the merits and potential side effects of these drugs through their patients and their impressions from TV ads. This is just one very obvious use of funds which might be redirected in part or in whole to ease health care costs. Perhaps prior to TV pharm ads equal funds were made available to contribute the high costs of R&D. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of compromise between sectors...or even an attempt to work toward compromise. I'm totally disgusted.
