Should the Constitution Prohibit Congress From Getting Paid During Shutdowns?

If you believe so strongly in your convictions that a shutdown is necessary, then have the courage to back it up by sacrificing your pay. If I don’t work, I don’t get paid. I see no read why that shouldn’t be true of our politicians.
