Of course Puerto Rico should be a U.S. state. The argument that the territory is too poor is moot because it’s already a U.S. territory and the U.S. already has it’s fair share of poor states. We’re not looking to get deny poor states statehood. Puerto Rican Americans are U.S. citizens and should be granted the right to vote. They are denied that right but are held to the standards of the U.S. constitution in the same breath. That is simply wrong.
