The vast majority of the global ice sheets melted prior to the industrial revolution; those ice sheets covered the midwest and were at least a mile thick. They enabled humans to migrate by walking from Europe and Asia into north America. What caused the massive climate change required to melt all that ice?
Way too many politicians, politicos, and bureaucrats who believe that climate change is the exception and not the norm and who believe humans are responsible for these exceptions go at it with a religious fervor combined with a 17th century witch hunt mentality. This badly undermines the whole business.
