I agree with the intent of the bill, but disagree with a particular number being placed on it. How do you determine who is 110,001 and reject them? What if that person is the minor child of a parent allowed in within the 110,000? On allowing refugees to enter the U.S., I strongly believe this should be on a temporary basis. Every able-bodied refugee man and woman between the ages of 18-50, who is not the ONLY direct caregiver to 1 or more children, should be required to enter a special military service constructed, equipped, and trained to specifically re-enter their country of origin and fight to reclaim their freedom and independence, within that country, from oppressive regimes. They should take back their own country just as the American colonists drove out the British in the 18th Century. Once that objective is completed, they should establish a democratic government in complete alliance with the U.S. and our allies and ALL refugees from that country should return as their part of making that country strong enough to stand on its own and pay back the debt owed to the U.S. and other countries for hosting and helping its citizens.
