The argument that "we stole their land" is quite outdated. They have just as many opportunities (if not more) than many young americans as it is. There are more scholarship and work opportunities available to native american youth. I don't mean to say that they aren't valuable, but propagating race-specific opportunity bills doesn't seem to be an efficient use of our time or money. Why can't we introduce bills that help all youth have opportunities? Or at least youth that are truly in positions that they aren't likely to be successful (below poverty line, foster care system, etc.).
