I am 100% wholeheartedly against the death penalty. Case study after case study has found it not to be a crime deterrent; however it is inhumane and causes a great deal of human suffering. DNA testing is always advancing and acquitting prisoners after they've already been executed. There is always the possibility of a flaw in the system, could be a conspiracy, framing of an individual, etc. so I think the death penalty should be completely abolished in this country because of that small bit of equivocal doubt.
