When you increase a tax, you put a burden on others and just because you aren't involved in whatever activity is taxed, doesn't give you the right to force such on others. Taxes should be generalized, not targeted. When targeted, it becomes a punishment. An indirect way to change behavior of someone other than yourself. It is called the tyranny of the majority. Meaning, just because you have more votes than others, doesn't mean you should use those votes to lord it over them or punish them for behavior you don't like. If everyone has to dance to your tune, it will be a sorry world indeed.
