Instead of focusing on the symptom of a problem (abortion) why don't you focus on the cause - economic issues. Countries with easy access to abortion and substantial ecenomic assistance to pregnant women have the lowest rates of abortion. Women who get abortions, if asked, state ecenomic concerns, poverty, inability to provide for children as the reasons for their abortion. If we address those issues then fighting over abortion 'rights' will no longer be a huge issue. Instead I wish you would work on legislation promoting family growth, and children. Pass legislation providing for cheaper healthcare for pregnant women, subsidies for childcare, etc. If we can ease the financial burden of raising a child, then less women would choose to terminate a pregnancy.
