Some feel that awarding the congressional medal to those who lost their lives in Benghazi feel that this is an empty gesture. I disagree. I feel that there is no better way to honor those lives lost, and to remind ourselves of what it means to be an American. It's not a gesture meant for the people of the US or anywhere in the world. It is the biggest gesture the people can accomplish to acknowledge the dead, and show their families and friends that we care, we honor their sacrifice, and that we the people will ensure that those responsible will experience the justice they deserve.
