Our National Parks are a treasure we inherited from wise past generations, which we are tasked with being custodians of for the next generations. I’ve been to many, but not enough. They are all on my bucket list. If we are able to generate revenue from other public lands, we should use that money to take care of the National Parks. I’ve never, ever regretted a day I spent in a National Park. They are good for our souls. BTW - I heard yesterday the President reduced the Royalties charged to energy companies for the leases they have on our public lands. It sounds like a quid pro quo to me, as we know BIG ENERGY is a major donor to the Trump Campaign. I encourage my Congressman & Senators to investigate what’s going on here, as the reduction in Royalties paid means less money for our US Treasury and possibly our Parks if this suggestion takes hold.
