I have been living in Alabama for 13 months and in 2016 my insurance provider dropped me because my income was below the poverty level. Since Alabama's legislators voted against expanding Medicare, I was without healthcare coverage for about three months until I finally found a job. Our local homeless shelter also clean send last month due to budget cuts. I place the blame on my two senators (one of whom is now the US AG) and my representative, Bradley Byrne. These officials are voting strictly party lines with absolutely no consideration for their constituents.
