Education of all children should be a priority of all communities regardless of the child's gender. Encouraging education of women and girls will not only give them a chance at a better future it improves their community's economy from the higher incomes and money spent by these women and their families. Part of that encouragement and support needs to come around at the same time puberty begins. Many young women do not have the money to manage their menstrual cycles in a hygienic and comfortable way and as a result drop out after falling too far behind due to missing a week's worth of classes every month. Any aid we give should keep this mind and come properly prepared to supply these ladies with the items they need to fully pursue their education.
