Why do people keep saying that the EPA is "stepping over their boundaries". If companies pollute too much or have disregard for the environment, they should be punished. It's as simple as that. Does no one remember the book silent spring written to show Americans how our carelessness towards the environment would eventually destroy it. And obviously no one remembers the terrible condition America was in during the 60's. For those who don't know, THATS why the EPA was created. To protect the citizens who live in our great country from the people who want to exploit and destroy our waters, our land, and our towns. Why can't people learn from our mistakes in the past. If you take away the EPA, just to take save a little money, then you must not have ever experienced America's great beauty. Please don't get rid of the EPA our generations after us should be able to experience America the way we do.
