Government computers should only be used for government business and any deviation from this rule should be punishable. The use of government computers for anything other than government business open the government networks to viruses, network denial of service and hackers. The government should not be forced to legislate this issue. Government employees should be professional enough to reframe from any action that endangers the systems or networks that the federal government relies upon. The federal government should only purchase domestically constructed computers and only those with key board input. No drive bays, USB ports or any other mass media access and only government purchased and approved devices should be attached to any government computer. No personal email or messager services should be allowed.
