One factor that Hasn’t been considered enough is those who do high school sports. I’m currently a sophomore in high school, and I do three different sports, covering four different seasons (Cross Country is summer-fall). We run directly after school each day in heat that can get up into the low hundreds. If it’s a hard workout day where we simply can’t do well in the heat, we have two options; go late at night, plowing into our homework time, or go early in the morning, starting around 5 or 5:30, sacrificing at the very least an hour of sleep. Delaying the times would help with so many more things, but this one, however minor, has been thus far overlooked.
