I think it is heresy that political squabbles are preventing the going forth of constitutional duties. It shouldn't have to come to this, where the House must compel the Senate to CONSIDER a nominee. My thing is this. If they don't want him... Fine, but to not consider him is ludicrous. The real truth is, it would be more politically detrimental to deny a nomination than it would be to refuse a consideration. So they want to wait so they can spare their own candidate. But I say let the PRESIDENT do HIS JOB and place a person before you for nomination. And SENATE do YOUR JOB and vote on the man.
