While I would support conserving parts of each state as "wilderness," I can't support the Federal Government moving in and telling the states what land is to be "federally" protected. This is what happened on the Bundy ranch. Obama's thugs went in there and told the man to get his cattle off of what was now designated federally protected land. In the end, federal agents executed Mr. Clive Bundy after he refused to comply. Certainly, some Liberal Socialist Legislators in New York, San Francisco or Chicago would want to "protect" land they had never even seen. All to garner votes from the "environmentalists" who themselves, have never seen these "lands" either. So what we've got here is a bunch of tree huggers from the big cities deciding how the folks in middle Nebraska should be dealing with their lands. I say, let the states decide what lands should be used and what should be set aside. I'm certain the folks in each state can decide for themselves what should be done with the land better than a former Bar Maid from the Bronx New York, who happens to a member of Congress can.
