A reason listed to oppose this bill includes, “Teaching financial literacy via a single class won’t stick or yield results. At 18 or younger, many students simply won’t retain the lessons they learn about healthy financial habits long enough to apply them in the real world.” What a ridiculous crock! We graduate young adults who go onto college. These kids deserve to understand how to manage their money. All children are born with the capacity for greatness - it is cynical adults who hold them back and under estimate them.
