HR620 would put additional burden on people navigating the world with disabilities. It makes life more difficult for a population constantly facing challenges in their everyday actions and eases pressure on businesses to provide basic and critical services (i.e. accessible ingress/egress, accessible lavatory facilities). It dilutes the tool crafted to assist Americans with disabilities to ensure they are provided these basic services by creating barriers to civil grievences and immediate reactions. In order to protect businesses and other entities, this legislation fails to protect the very people for whom the ADA was established. HR620 should have been voted down.
