The ACA was successful in that many people who were previously uninsured now have insurance. This seems like a good thing. However, the unspoken fact is that the people on these plans cannot afford to go to the doctor, because these plans have enormous deductibles and do not pay for common things, such as medicine or checkups. Lastly, the government fines those who do not carry insurance. It is simply unethical and unconstitutional for the government to force an individual to purchase something. There has to be a better way.
