The premise of managing forest against disease, pestilence, & fire is a worthy one. What makes it a bad bill is opening it up for deforestation. Once our public forests are sold for timber, it will never be the same. We must protect our virgin forests without selling the timber. All public land must remain in its native state to preserve it for future generations. Native wildlife must be protected. No drilling, fracking, mining, deforestation, polluting, or wildlife hunts. This is a bad bill. It's the beginning of the destruction of our treasured public lands.
