While I do believe the LGBT community gets a hard time for certain things that heterosexual people do freely. Such as expressing themselves comfortably and marriage, I do not believe that they should be included into the protected classes. Gays and lesbians are not a race, people or religious faith. It is a way of having sex. I do not believe that deciding to have sex a different way from me or any heterosexual counterpart should give or take away any special or normal rights given to everyone in this country. When it comes to transsexuals that undergo plastic surgery to change their sexual identity. I feel as thought they have that right to change their apprentice as much as any other plastic surgery patient, but it is a personal choice and should not be left up to the general public to police such a personal change i.e. Bathrooms. I do believe that certain laws that effect a community should be passed to prevent bigotry in certain arena's like work and school. I know this is touchy and I mean know disrespect or offense and I am open to equal civil conversation about this topic. Thank you.
