Nobody wants an abortion performed by a doctor or one performed by God (miscarriage). The best way to prevent abortions is to actually teach people about birth control and not just abstinence because when you tell somebody not to do something, they will typically want to do it more. How about we actually provide women with birth control over the counter to prevent abortions and lessons in school, if you are so concerned? Guaranteeing maternity and paternity paid leave would also help. I am a vegetarian and think it is hypocritical of people to say they believe in life while eating a steak. I know vegetarianism isnt for everyone, so I dont force that on anyone. I let people have freedom of choice. Would I get an abortion, no, but I am old enough to support a child (30s) and it isnt right for me. That doesnt mean I will force not having one upon someone else. Coat hangers causing women's deaths and skyrocketing people on welfare will be the result of such policies that also deny women medical care that will cover pregnancy, maternity leave and birth control. I have two kids and am badly injured from those pregnancies, yet I have to live every day with my organs protruding from my stomach because insurance will not cover the side effects of birth, they classify it as plastic surgery (hah, i wish). Do we hate women in America? It sure seems like it.
