This thinking comes from a view that under $15 workers should make more money. Actually, let's view this from a workers view point. If the worker refused to work for the pay offered, then the employer would be forced to pay more or close the business. It's the illegal that works for less because their illegal and will sacrifice pay for a job. Plus they can apply for housing, snap/food stamps and free healthcare. If a worker works for a lower wage, one may think he's illegal or a poor worker. Watch wages rise when e-verify is finally mandated by Congressional action.
