It was taken away from us by the British in the 1800s because the British wanting to sell us opium but we refused and stop selling tea to them . They took the island by military and made us sign a 99 years lease which we followed the rules and never took hong kong before 1997 when we could have . Then when 1997 come the british wanted to keep it but we said no . No Hong kong is under the one country to system and they are wanting to be independent . We did not wait over 100 years for hong kong to be taken from us then leased then have the one country two system until 2047 . No . Hong kong is china we are not wanting a conflict but please respect our internal affairs
