I can’t believe what some people are commenting. No one is saying that graduates of any program are entitled to a job upon graduation. What this act is saying is that it’s the degree-granting institution’s RESPONSIBILITY to adequately prepare students for gainful employment when they’ve finished their program. Telling students that your degree program is accredited and only letting them find out after they’ve spent thousands of dollars that your degree is actually worthless is tantamount to selling snake oil. There has to be truth to advertising. Getting a job is up to the student but the quality of their degree shouldn’t stand in their way.
