Like it or not the right to have an abortion is legal in the US. Rescinding this bill is just one more attempt to to disenfranchise this right. Increasingly states are using regulations to interfere with women's health care and create a de facto no abortion right. Regulations like this are indierect attacks on women' abilities to receive family planning and health services such as cancer screenings and conraceptives. As anation we can either help women and their families up front or we will pay for more families and children services down the road; health care for children even loving families cannot care for and more child abuse/abandonment when emotional and financial breakdown overwhelm women and their families. Which is more humane? No federal monies go to abortions and contrary to the alternative facts the money trail is not fungible.
