I have worked in the health care field long enough to see 45 year old grandmothers; that's 3 generations of women who have had babies at 15 years old, due to lack of education and no access to proper reproductive health care (I live in Mississippi). These women are destined to a life of poverty and struggle. These children are being had by women that are unable to care for them financially (and most times emotionally). This perpetuates a cycle of poverty with no opportunities of advancement or a better standard of living. Pro-life does not take into account quality of life!! We need planned parenthood and more clinics like it....especially in rural and poor areas!
