The EPA needs to be DEFENDED and properly funded and resourced to continue protecting the people of America. It ABSOLUTELY should NOT be eliminated!!! I am old enough to remember before a lot of the major issues that resulted from less stringent environmental environmental enforcement: rivers catching on fire, sailing a small boat in a harbor close to a large city and seeing human feces floating in the water, etc. Even with the EPA at current force, we have had problems like the Flint water poisoning with lead; before the EPA, lead poisoning was common in children from lead in paint used in houses. The EPA needs more funding and support, NOT less. Business has done just fine with the EPA in force, so the idea that less regulation is good for business is a "straw man" argument.
