HR 3905 should be an obvious “Nay” vote. Our country has unfortunately shifted in the wrong direction in regards to our environment. The current presidential administration is seeking to repeal most Obama era legislation that protects the environment. National Parks are an important aspect and asset to our country. Americans benefit from the preservation of these lands not only in regards to the quality of the local environment, but we also benefit economically from the tourism revenue to these local communities. Historically people and presidents have enjoyed the natural beauty of these parks since the establishment of Yellowstone National Park by President Grant, and even President Lincoln’s push to create Yosemite National Park. This bill would allow industries to corrupt these national landmarks which is why I oppose this bill and strongly advocate for a negate vote.
