A police officer is a person. If a non-law enforcement person commits a murder, and it is a federal crime, why should it be any different from a police officer who is also a person? There should be no person above the law. If someone commits murder they are not judged by their family members and friends or people who know them, they are judged by an unbiased party Who have no insight to their Life prior to the crime. Why should an officer be judged by it's peers rather than an unbiased party?
