Not until we reform the point system for veteran disabilities. People who aren't veterans or former dependents need to understand, the percentage system says nothing about your physical ability. The way it works is certain physical ailments (like pain or diabetes for some odd reason), mental and brain issues will each have a certain number of points and if you claim enough you can get 100%. I've met plenty of people with 100% disability who can walk without any problems and can and do live independently. We need to have a priority system in place so people with severe injuries from combat are given more priority to be seen for that injury than a guy who spent a few years in the reserves and complains about ringing in the ears.
