The ACA has its problems, but we have to remember, healthcare premiums were skyrocketing BEFORE the ACA was enacted... in fact the ACA was enacted with the promise of lowering premiums. The problem is insurance profit-motive. When insurance companies have to actually pay for sick people care, it cuts into their profits. Stockholder don't like that, and neither do politicians that are heavily invested in big pharma. I have to end my rant here, because my heart is starting to race. The last I want to do, is be diagnosed with hypertension that induced because my elected officials are idiots.
