I'm on my 22nd year of military active duty. While I like the intent here, I question where it may lead. Hopping on the bus to basic training shouldn't be a free ride to naturalization. Do you have any idea how many people don't make it through initial military training, let alone their first term of enlistment? Naturalization should be automatic upon completion of the first term of enlistment or perhaps upon completion of a deployment to a combat zone. To provide citizenship to anyone who shows up at basic training is just inviting abuse.
