I have never believed in the "sins of the father's". If a citizen illegally adopted and smuggled a child into this country and that child grew up here living the life of an American child, our government would not hesitate to allow that child to stay here if discovered as a young adult. How would the fact that the parents being here illegally make this situation different? I just can't find any way to blame and or punish a child for the parents behavior. And for those who say it is against the law and that's that. I can find no place in our laws were we punish children for being accessories to crimes where they had absolutely no choice in perpetrating the crime. Nor do we convict children with trespassing, theft, or violence-less crimes when they are <12 years of age.
