Illegals continue to flood across our borders. We have over 11 million of them and they demand rights and benefits that should be reserved for US citizens (like drivers licenses and our jobs). Our borders need to be secured and our laws enforced. Even though I believe President Reagan was a great President, he started this mess by giving amnesty to over 6 million illegals. Since Congress didn't pass comprehensive immigration reform, another 11 million plus illegals are here and their children are automatically citizens. President Obama had a chance in his first two years to pass comprehensive immigration reform (like he promised the Hispanics who voted for him). Instead, he passed Obamacare, and when he decided to do Comprehensive Immigration Reform, Congress was Republican and they opposed this immigration reform. He lost his chance to complete his promise. Then he blamed the Republicans, but really it was his fault. When Democrats had the Presidency and both houses of Congress, they could have passed immigration reform and then Obamacare. Because President Obama lost his chance, he deported over a million of these Hispanics and tried the unconstitutional executive orders (DACA and DAPA). The Hispanics were hoping Hillary would be elected so they could continue accumulating more illegals. Hillary promised them immigration reform, but with Republicans in control of both houses of Congress, she would have been in the same situation as Obama. Now we arrive at the current situation. The Hispanics are terrified of President Trump, but instead of fighting him, they should work with Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform. President Trump is fulfilling his campaign promises. These protests are counter-productive and by saying President Trump isn't their President, the Hispanics are going to suffer for the next 4-8 years. President Obama could have been their hero, but he failed them.
